The Gloster is late to the party but MG has ensured it enters with a bang!

MG Motor India has launched the Gloster full-size SUV at Rs 28.98 lakh (ex-showroom). It’s MG’s flagship product and takes on the likes of the Ford Endeavour, Toyota Fortuner and Mahindra Alturas G4. Its piece de resistance is its level 1 autonomous driving tech, a first in the segment. But to ensure competitive pricing, it comes with two engine options, four variants and two seating layouts. These prices are introductory and valid until October 31 or for the first 2,000 customers who have booked the Gloster. Moreover, these prices also include the My MG Shield Customisation after-sales package plan worth Rs 50,000. 

ZW-MG-Gloster

The Gloster can be had either as a 6- or a 7-seater SUV. It’s the only SUV in its segment to feature captain seats for middle row occupants. But if you want the more practical 7-seater, you have no other choice but to pick up the base-spec Super or Sharp variants.

Notable convenience features include a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, connected car tech, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, heated and ventilated front seats, a 12-speaker sound system, powered driver’s seat with massage function, ambient lighting, and a panoramic sunroof. On the safety front, it features multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, parking sensors and electronic stability program.
