Maybach. A name that stands for the epitome in motoring luxury, craft and innovation made its debut in the Indian market in 2006. It’s been five years since Mercedes-Benz launched its ‘Palace on Wheels’ range of cars, christened the Maybach on Indian streets, and now Mercedes-Benz India Limited has taken the wraps off its top of the line luxury sedan models, namely the Maybach 57 S & Maybach 62, which also marks the celebration of 125th year since the invention of the first automobile by Karl Benz and Gottlieb Daimler.
The Maybach 57 S with its Biturbo 12 cylinder engine and approximated top speed of 275 kms/hr is characterized by its outstanding engineering and superior performance. The performance potential of the stunning Maybach 57S can be inferred from its lowered ride height and stylish wheel design.

The Maybah 62 on the other hand embodies all that the Maybach marquee stands for. Dual tone exteriors, finest leather in elegant shades, electrically operated curtains, tinted glass, a high definition entertainment screen (both front and rear), an electro transparent partition and an adjustable third rear seat are just among a few functionalities that make the Maybach 62 a chauffer’s delight and a passengers dream come true.
Elite touches and an outstandingly sophisticated finish make cars like the Maybach 57S and 62 an indulgence in luxury that can possibly only be compared to a Rolls-Royce Phantom.

Speaking on the occasion of its launch, Mr. Peter Honegg, Managing Director and CEO of Mercedes-Benz India said: “The Maybach 62 and Maybach 57 S are writing the next chapter in the history. These, along with Mercedes-Benz models made some of the finest examples of automotive excellence, worldwide. We are happy to offer this epitome of automotive excellence for the discerning Indian customer.”
Powerful, dynamic yet covered in a rather subtle exterior design, the new Maybachs will be priced between Rs. 4.85 Crore to Rs 5.15 Crore depending on the variant you pick. The Maybach is available through a bespoke program that allows a potential owner to customize their vehicle to their liking. No two Maybach vehicles are alike and each represents the individual taste of their owner.
