Maruti Suzuki is all set to pump in the festive cheer by launching a limited edition of its popular model Alto K10 – christened the Maruti Alto K10 Urbano. The carmaker had earlier launched a special Onam edition of the Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 in a bid to cash in on the festive season. The Alto K10 Urbano will be available in LX, LXi, VXi and VXi (o) trims, including CNG.
Commenting on the launch of this limited edition model, R S Kalsi, Executive Director, Marketing and Sales, Maruti Suzuki India, said, “The Urbano comes with characteristic black and silver theme with complementary body graphics and garnish. Several features like reverse parking sensor, hands free Bluetooth kit, fast USB car charger etc., bring delight and convenience to the customer.”
“These features make Alto K10 Urbano more stylish and trendy. We are confident that customers will appreciate this limited edition”, he further added.
On the exterior front, the Maruti Alto K10 Urbano recieves chrome inserts on the ORVMs, fog lamps, wheel arches and tail lamps. The limited edition model also receives body decals on the side profile which ups its style quotient. Inside, the Urbano recieves art leather seat covers with special bucket design and matching steering wheel cover, designer mats and pedals, ambient light and LED door sill guard.
Mechanically, the car remains unchanged and comes equipped with the 1.0-litre K-series all aluminium engine which churns out 68PS of power and 90Nm of torque. Maruti claims an ARAI certified fuel economy figure of 24.07kmpl. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.
Customers can avail the additional 18 features at an attractive price of Rs. 16,990 higher than the regular Alto K10. This limited edition model also comes with a special 90 per cent funding on MGA package.
