Honda Is Now Offering An ‘Anytime Warranty’ Plan For Its Cars

• The coverage can be extended for up to 10 years and 1.2 lakh km.
• Vehicles less than 10 years old and with fewer than 1.2 lakh km on the odometer may be eligible.
• This warranty plan can be availed 1 month before the end of the extended warranty.
• It can also be availed after the expiration of other warranties but at a higher price.

Honda Cars India has introduced a new warranty plan called ‘Anytime Warranty’ for all its passenger cars. It can be availed for any vehicle less than 10 years old with fewer than 1,20,000km accumulated since purchase. The warranty can be bought one year (20,000km) at a time.

The Anytime Warranty can be availed even after the expiration of the standard and extended warranties. However, the rates applicable to each vehicle will be higher. For example, the cost of the Anytime warranty for the 7th year for a Honda Brio is Rs 6,527. If there is a break in warranty coverage, the cost gets hiked to Rs 7,335. Prices increase for each successive year.

Anytime Warranty is available for all Honda models of passenger cars. Even the Mobilio is listed as a possible recipient of the coverage. Tenth-year costs are the highest. They range from Rs 9,927 for the Brio petrol to Rs 55,673 for a diesel CR-V. However, if the car’s service records aren’t comprehensive or there is a break in the warranty coverage, Honda can charge you Rs 11,155 and Rs 62,911 for the Brio and CR-V, respectively.

The new warranty scheme is likely to make the ownership experience of Honda buyers less stressful. Even with the warranty, it will be up to the owner to routinely maintain their vehicle at a certified dealership. The maintenance record will be crucial for obtaining the best price when renewing the Anytime warranty.

Honda Cars India introduces Industry First Any Time Warranty Program upto 10 years

About Any Time Warranty by Honda Cars India
It’s a unique program introduced first time in Indian Automotive Industry. This program gives a coverage of "1 Year / 20,000 Kms". The eligible criteria to get this program is Vehicle age less than 10 Years (from policy start date) and Odometer reading less than 1,20,000 Kms from new vehicle sale date. The customer can opt for this program anytime even after expiry of Standard Warranty / Extended Warranty. The vehicle will be required to qualify a formal inspection by authorised dealer in case of a break in warranty and preventive maintenance service.
