Harley-Davidson has already started work on its new Bronx streetfighter and Pan America ADV. Now leaked patent images suggest that the company’s two other concepts -- a cafe racer and flat tracker are on its way to production. These two concepts were first seen in a leaked Harley-Davidson investor meeting dossier back in 2019.

The patent drawings bear striking similarities to the concept images. This could mean that the final production models could have very little difference to the concepts. Both will be powered by Harley-Davidson’s all-new Revolution Max liquid-cooled V-twin motor. This motor comes in two capacities -- 975cc and 1250cc. The upcoming Bronx streetfighter will get the smaller motor while the Pan America ADV will house the larger one. While Harley-Davidson has not specified the engine capacities for both concepts, we reckon it will be the larger 1250cc one. The larger motor will allow Harley-Davidson to compete directly with the Triumph’s 1200cc Thruxton cafe racer and Indian’s FTR 1200 flat tracker.
Both motorcycles though share a different platform. While the cafe racer gets a frame similar to the Bronx, the flat tracker seems to share its frame with the Custom 1250. Both seem to have an identical front suspension and brake setup though the cafe racer gets twin shock absorbers. The flat tracker has a monoshock setup.
Harley-Davidson has not yet revealed a launch timeline for both motorcycles. So it is highly unlikely that the cafe racer and flat tracker will be launched before 2022.
