F1 2010 from Codemasters wins BAFTA Award!

F1 2010 is the first multi-format, high definition Formula 1 videogame from a long line of games based on actual F1 teams, drivers and circuits and it has now won the prestigious GAME British Academy Video Games Award! Developed by Codemasters using their cutting edge EGO Technology Platform, the game includes all the teams and drivers from the 2010 season as well as all the 19 tracks including the new venue in Korea. F1 2010 is definitely the most advanced F1 game ever to hit gaming consoles and impresses with its attention to detail and accuracy of not only the visual aspect but also the experience of being part of Formula 1. “The award from BAFTA is a great honour and to be recognized in this way is a tribute to the creative development studios at Codemaster who, in the face of intense competition have come out on top as being best in class,” said Codemasters CEO Rod Cousens. “When it comes to racing Codemasters is leading the world and in F1, it has been achieved by working in collaboration with all the teams and with FOM. The British Academy of Film and Television is a charity that promotes moving image and art forms – usually awarding movies and television series for excellence.
