BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine Gets ‘Iconic’ At Rs 53.50 Lakh

The first 50 customers who pre-book the sedan will get a complimentary BMW Comfort Package worth Rs 1 lakh.
Four body shades and two dual-tone interior upholstery options on offer.
It will be offered in the Luxury Line and M Sport trim, with the latter getting sportier bodywork and 18-inch alloy wheels.
It will go on sale in India on January 21 at a premium over the standard model.
As the BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine’s January 21 launch date gets closer, more details about the sedan have surfaced. The first of which being that pre-bookings will commence from January 11 at a token price of Rs 50,000. The first 50 customers who pre-book the sedan will get a complimentary BMW Comfort Package worth Rs 1 lakh, which includes a 10.9-inch iPad AIR prefixed for rear passenger entertainment and a coat hanger. More details on the options you’d get with the sedan have been revealed on the company’s website.

To start things off, the 3 Series GL will be offered in four metallic body shades: Carbon, Black, Cashmere Silver, Melbourne Red and Mineral White. You also get the dual-tone Vernasca Oyster or Cognac with black interior upholstery options. Aside from that, it’ll be offered in the Luxury Line and M Sport Package. The latter adds sportier bumpers and larger 18-inch alloy wheels compared to the 17-inch wheels in the Luxury Line trim.

The 3 Series Gran Limousine will be 120mm longer with its wheelbase extended by 110mm, and its legroom by 43mm for the rear passengers over the standard 3 Series sedan. It is expected to retain most of its feature list as well as the 190PS/400Nm 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, 260PS/400Nm 2.0-litre turbo-petrol, and 190PS/400Nm 2.0-litre diesel engine options.

BMW’s 3 Series Gran Limousine will most likely take the place of the 3 Series Gran Turismo with prices at a premium over the standard model that retails from Rs 42.30 lakh to Rs 49.30 lakh (ex-showroom).
