The Creative + S variant of the Curvv is priced between Rs 13.70 lakh and Rs 16.70 lakh (introductory, ex-showroom). This variant is available with all three engines and two transmission options. Choosing the automatic gearbox over the manual one comes at a premium of Rs 1.50 lakh, regardless of the engine option you pick.
Like the lower-specced variants, the Creative + S features sleek LED DRLs, contrasting silver accents on the grille, and a silver-finished skid plate at the front. However, it comes with a connected DRL setup that includes welcome and goodbye animations each time you unlock or lock the vehicle, which makes it look slightly more premium compared to the lower-spec variants. It also gets LED fog lamps with a cornering function.
The Creative + S variant rides on 18-inch alloy wheels, while the overall side profile looks sporty with a sloping roofline. Flush-fitted door handles and a silver window line add a touch of premium-ness to the design, while squared-off wheel arches provide a sense of ruggedness.
At the rear, connected LED tail lamps immediately catch your eye, while the split roof-mounted spoiler enhances its sporty appeal. The Creative + S variant also features a silver-finished skid plate at the rear, unlike the black one found on the lower-specced variants.
Step inside the Creative + S variant, and you'll be greeted by a black and blue cabin theme with leatherette seat upholstery and plenty of soft-touch materials. Additionally, piano black accents on the central console, a copper-finished line running across the dashboard, and touch-sensitive climate controls enhance the cabin's ambience.
The Creative + S variant comes equipped with features such as a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, an 8-speaker audio system, keyless entry with push-button start/stop, automatic climate control and a panoramic sunroof.
Safety is taken care of with six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, a tyre pressure monitoring system, hill hold and descent control, and a 360-degree parking camera with a blind view monitor.
Tata offers all three engine options with the Creative + S variant. It gets the 120 PS/ 170 Nm 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine option, the 118 PS/ 260 Nm 1.5-litre diesel engine and the 125 PS/ 225 Nm 1.5-litre T-GDi turbo-petrol unit. Transmission options for all three powertrain options include a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
Tata has positioned the Curvv in the compact SUV segment, rivalling the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, VW Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, Honda Elevate, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, and Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder.
