The Renault Kiger makes its case right from the start with a more accessible price tag. It starts at nearly Rs 1.30 lakh less than the Maruti Fronx, and the gap only widens as you move up the variants, with the top-spec Kiger undercutting the Fronx by nearly Rs 1.70 lakh.

Dimensions

Sizing-wise, the Renault Kiger and Maruti Fronx are almost neck and neck. The Kiger’s taller stance gives it a more muscular profile. On the other hand, the Fronx is a touch wider and has a slightly longer wheelbase, traits that are likely to offer passengers a bit more shoulder room and overall cabin space.

Features

The 1.2-litre NA motor produces 90 PS and 113 Nm, and is available with a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT. The 1.0-litre turbo-petrol makes 100 PS and 148 Nm, and can be had with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic.
