Nissan India has just launched the facelifted Magnite at Rs 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This is the first-ever facelift that the sub-compact SUV has received since 2020. It gets a few cosmetic tweaks and a couple of standard feature additions to stay relevant in today’s market. The carmaker has already started taking orders and deliveries of the car are underway. The introductory price will only be offered to the first 10,000 bookings.
So before you hurry up to your nearest dealerships, we’ve got you covered with all the important information that you need to know to make a smart purchase:
Looks-wise, the Magnite facelift still resembles the outgoing model except for a few tweaks that make it look bolder. The fascia still has those sharp headlights and L-shaped DRLs, but the elements within the headlights are new. The fog lamps have been positioned differently. The grille is now bigger and has a honeycomb pattern garnished by chunky chrome inserts. Other than the dual-tone alloys, the overall silhouette looks pretty similar to before. For the rear, the taillights now have H-shaped motifs and the bumper has got a modest rework done to it.
The facelifted Magnite is being offered in six broad trims. For colour options, you get to choose between seven monotone hues including the new Sunrise Copper Orange shade, or five dual-tone colours.
Inside the cabin, you get to see a fresh new theme done in a dual-tone black-and-orange shade. There are Piano Black elements on the steering and some silver elements on the dashboard which complement each other. Barring the look, there are a few additions in terms of features like ambient lighting and auto-IRVM.
It continues to carry all the existing features like an 8-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 7-inch digital driver’s display, wireless phone charger, air purifier, cruise control, keyless entry and push-button start/stop. Passenger safety is taken care of by six airbags, ABS with EBD, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), electronic stability control and a 360-degree camera with rear parking sensors.

The powertrain doesn’t get any updates with this facelift. It continues to have a 1-litre NA petrol engine that delivers 72 PS and 96 Nm. It can be coupled with a 5-speed MT or a 5-speed AMT. The Magnite can also be had with a 1-litre turbo petrol engine that produces 100 PS and up to 160 Nm. This engine can be paired with either a 5-speed MT or CVT.
