TVS has launched the updated Apache RTR 160 4V for 2026, and this time, the changes are more about feature distribution across variants rather than a major overhaul. The biggest highlight is that key features are now available on more variants, instead of being limited to the top-spec version.

What’s New?

The updated lineup now gets a projector headlight with LED DRLs across variants. Alongside this, TVS has added a full LED lighting setup, including LED indicators. Another notable addition is the assist and slipper clutch, which should make aggressive downshifts smoother.

Earlier, these features were reserved for the top-end variant with a USD fork, TFT display, and traction control. With the 2026 update, TVS has essentially made these features more accessible across the range.

How Many Variants Are There?

The Apache RTR 160 4V continues to be offered in three main variants:

• Single-channel ABS variant: Gets a telescopic fork and a basic LCD console

• Dual-channel ABS with USD fork: Adds an upside-down telescopic fork and adjustable levers

• Top variant: Comes with a USD fork, a 5-inch TFT display, and traction control

While the core structure remains the same, the redistribution of features makes the lower variants feel less barebones than before.

Engine & Performance

Mechanically, nothing has changed. The bike continues with the same 160cc, oil-cooled engine producing 17.55PS, which still makes it one of the more powerful options in the segment. It also retains three ride modes: Sport, Urban, and Rain, along with features like TVS SmartXonnect and radial tyres.

Price & Availability

The updated Apache RTR 160 4V range starts at Rs 1.25 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), going up to Rs 1.37 lakh for the top variant.
