Updated Royal Enfield Classic 350: What To Expect?

We recently got to know that Royal Enfield is updating the Classic 350 on August 12, 2024. But what sort of changes can we expect from the updated model?

Well, for starters, the headlight, taillight and the pilot lamps are expected to be LED units, replacing the halogen bulbs in the current model. Thus, the 2024 Royal Enfield Classic 350 will come equipped with all-LED lighting and this updated feature could be made available for all variants. 

The other change expected from the updated model is new colour schemes and graphics. The manufacturer has been updating the colour schemes of other models in its lineup since the J-series Classic 350 arrived a few years ago. New paint schemes will certainly freshen the roadster’s lineup. The Indian two-wheeler market has seen a few new retro roadsters arrive into the scene over the last one year. So, updating the Classic 350 will help Royal Enfield maintain its dominance in this segment.

Other than these two changes, the rest of the bike is expected to remain unchanged. It will still be powered by the 349cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine producing 20.2PS and 27Nm. The suspension setup will consist of a telescopic fork with fork covers and twin shock absorbers. The semi-digital instrument console with a digital inset will most likely be left untouched. 

The Royal Enfield Classic 350’s price range {currently Rs 1,93,080 - Rs 2,24,755 (ex-showroom)} is expected to remain unchanged for now. But if there is indeed a price bump, then it’ll be about Rs 3,000-Rs 4,000. Its rivals are the Jawa 350 and the Honda CB350 H’ness.
