Tata Motors will launch the Kaziranga Edition SUVs, which pays homage to the one-horned India rhinoceros in Kaziranga, on February 23 as per our sources. Based on the latest teasers from the carmaker, the special edition Punch, Nexon, and Harrier will get additional features that are absent in their respective standard trims.

They are as follows:

The Tata Safari doesn’t get any feature additions, as all of the above mentioned were introduced in the Gold Edition.

All the special edition SUVs will be finished in a Grassland Beige shade that mimics the savannah grass found in the expanse of Kaziranga. Contrasting black alloy wheels, badges, and dechromed elements stand out nicely with this colour.

Inside, the Kaziranga Edition SUVs get an all-black dashboard with contrasting beige touches on the seats and door pads. Also, a silhouette of the one-horned rhinoceros has been embossed on the front seat headrests. The centre trim on the Punch’s dashboard is finished in beige, while the others get a wooden trim.

All the special edition SUVs will get the existing powertrains. The flagship Harrier and Safari get a 170PS 2-litre diesel engine, while the Punch gets only a 86PS 1.2-litre petrol motor. On the other hand, the Nexon offers you a choice between a 120PS 1.2-litre turbo-petrol and 110PS 1.5-litre diesel units.

The Kaziranga Edition SUVs will be based on the top-spec trims and will command a premium over the standard trims. More to follow on its launch day.
