New Renault Duster Reaches Dealerships; Deliveries Begin From…

After its blockbuster debut on this year’s Republic Day, we now have exclusive images which show that Renault has started dispatching the first batch of the new Duster to dealerships in India. With a launch around the corner, and deliveries slated to begin in April, here is a recap of all you need to know about the new Duster:

2026 Renault Duster: Starts Reaching Dealerships

From these images, we can see that Renault has sent across the first batch of the Duster to dealerships across the country, and interested buyers will soon be able to have a feel for the car in flesh at their nearest showroom.

Notably, the variant spied here is the ‘Iconic Launch Edition’ which gets some exclusive cosmetic touches and will be limited to just 2,026 units. You can check out more about what it is like here.

About The 2026 Renault Duster

Almost synonymous with the Renault brand in India, the new Duster is coming back to India after a hiatus of 4 years in an all-new avatar. At the front, it gets a butch and rugged look, with a tall bonnet, gloss-black grille with ‘DUSTER’ lettering and a prominent silver skid plate on the sharp bumper. Towards the side, it gets 18-inch alloy wheels, muscular haunches and a rear door handle mounted behind the window to mimic a ‘two-door’ look.

The rear-end on the other hand features a connected LED taillamp cluster, a sharply raked windscreen and a heavily cladded bumper with silver appliques. 

Inside, it gets a new dashboard layout with a variety of textures and materials to compliment the outdoorsy theme. You also get to see a three-spoke steering wheel and a minimal centre console which houses the stubby gear lever. 

In terms of equipment, it gets features such as a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, panoramic sunroof, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster with Google OS, 6-way powered and ventilated front seats, air purifier, dual-zone climate control, powered tailgate, wireless charger and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Safety is taken care of by a Level 2 ADAS suite, 6 airbags, electronic stability control, electronic parking brake with auto-hold, all-wheel disc brakes, front and rear parking sensors, 360-degree camera and hill hold assist.

Under the hood it gets a choice of three engines consisting of 1-litre turbo-petrol,1.3-litre turbo-petrol mild-hybrid and 1.8-litre turbo-petrol strong-hybrid options. Here are the detailed specifications:

2026 Renault Duster: Launch Date, Booking Details And Expected Price

Bookings for the new Duster are already open, with deliveries for the turbo-petrol variants slated for mid-April, while the strong-hybrid will be out on roads only by Diwali this year. The new Duster is likely to launch sometime in mid-March. Check out more about the booking details and delivery timelines here.

As for the pricing, we expect the new Duster to retail between Rs 10 lakh to 20 lakh (ex-showroom).

The new Duster will compete in the crowded compact SUV segment with rivals such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Tata Sierra, Maruti Grand Vitara and Victoris, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, MG Astor, Citroen Aircross, Honda Elevate, Skoda Kushaq Facelift, Volkswagen Taigun and the upcoming Nissan Tekton.
