Mercedes has had a rather busy year with updates to existing models and a few big launches in India. But it seems like the German marque isn’t quite done just yet as we’ve received confirmation that two new launches will come here before Diwali hits.

Mercedes divulged this information at the showcase of the Vision Maybach 6 in Mumbai, but only revealed the silhouettes of the cars. So while we don’t have an exact confirmation on which models those might be, we can make a measured guess.

The sedan could likely be the new-gen E-Class which broke cover globally back in April. The E-Class has always been an instrumental series for the German marque, and it would make a lot of sense for the E-Class to make an entry in the market right now. The second model, which the silhouette denotes to be an SUV, could be the Maybach EQS 680 Luxury e-SUV – the first electric production Mercedes to sport the esteemed Maybach crest.
