Maruti Suzuki has given the Invicto’s base Zeta+ trim a small safety feature update: rear seat-belt reminders. This feature is now mandatory in all new cars and was earlier limited to the MPV’s top-spec Alpha+ trim. As a result of this addition, the Invicto’s base variant will see a price hike of up to Rs 3,000.
For reference, the Invicto’s Zeta+ trim is priced at Rs 24.79 lakh for the 7-seater variant and at Rs 24.84 lakh for the 8-seater variant.
The Invicto’s Zeta+ trim is well loaded with features such as a digital driver’s display, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, cruise control, keyless entry with push button start and cruise control. As for safety, it gets six airbags, electronic stability control, rear parking camera and an electronic parking brake with auto hold.
Powering the Invicto is a sole 186PS 2-litre strong-hybrid powertrain, driving the front wheels via an e-CVT. You can’t get it with a base 2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine like its donor car, the Innova Hycross.
