The Jeep Compass is one of the most stylish and classy looking SUVs in its segment, and has a charm of its own. The American carmaker has offered many special editions with the Compass, and among it, the Sandstorm Edition is the most recent one.
In this report, we compare the Sandstorm Edition with the Anniversary Edition which was launched last year. Starting with the new Sandstorm Edition, the special edition gets sandstorm-themed body decals which give the SUV an exclusive look. You get a desert-based body decal on the bonnet and dune decals on the side profile as well. Additionally, you get a Sandstorm badge on the fender of the rugged SUV.
In the Anniversary Edition, you get a black and red hood decal with ‘Anniversary Edition’ lettering on it. Additionally, one of the seven slots on the seven-slot grille comes with a velvet red finish. Rest other design elements remain the same on both editions.
The interior of both the special editions get a different theme. The Sandstorm Edition features a premium all-beige theme featuring beige seat covers and other theme-specific accessories like carpet and cargo mats. The special edition brings in a dashcam for added safety and customizable ambient lighting.
In the Anniversary edition, the seats and centre armrest are finished in red which gives it a sporty vibe. Just like the Sandstorm, the Anniversary edition also features a dash cam and programmable ambient lighting.
