Called the Track Edition, it features many exterior and interior changes to make it more relevant in 2025. Let’s take a look at the Compass Track Edition, but first, here is the variant-wise pricelist:

Getting straight to the exterior changes, the Track Edition gets exclusive bonnet decals, gloss black logos and grille along with 18-inch diamond-cut alloys finished in a Tech Grey shade for a sportier look. You also get contrasting Spruce Beige highlights to give it a shot of uniqueness. Besides this, the Track Edition continues with the same design as the standard Compass. At the front, it gets Jeep’s iconic seven-slat grille along with slim LED headlamps. Towards the side, it retains the slightly boxy characteristics, while the rear end also remains similar to the standard Compass, making for a mature and evolved exterior design.

You can get the Compass Track Edition in five exterior colour options, including Pearl White, Brilliant Black, Techno Metallic Green, Exotica Red and Grigio Magnesio Grey.
The styling upgrades continue inside. Exclusive to the Track Edition are new Tupelo leatherette seats, which offer contrast Spruce Beige stitching for a premium experience. It also gets smoked chrome trims and Tupelo vinyl accents with Jeep embossing. Unique to the Track Edition are also branded floor mats. Aside from these changes, the interior stays identical to the regular Compass with a free-standing touchscreen infotainment system and a rich, quality feel to the materials.

As for features, the Track Edition retains the regular Compass’ equipment list, which includes a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof, 8-way power adjustable and ventilated front leather seats with memory function, ambient lighting and a wireless charger.
Safety-wise, the Compass is equipped with 6 airbags, electronic stability control, electronic parking brake with auto hold, reverse camera, hill hold assist, electronic roll mitigation and tyre pressure monitoring system.

Under the bonnet, the Compass Track Edition gets a single option of a 2-litre diesel engine. This engine comes paired with 6-speed manual or 9-speed automatic transmission options. You also get to choose between 4x2 and 4x4 drivetrains. Detailed specifications for the Compass Track Edition are below:

The Jeep Compass competes with other midsize SUVs such as the Mahindra XUV700, Hyundai Alcazar and Tata Harrier, while you can also consider its larger sibling, the Meridian, as an alternative.
The Compass has been an enthusiast favourite given that it is one of the few options in the market which offers a high-quality premium interior and a punchy diesel engine in addition to great off-road capabilities. However, it was getting a bit long in the tooth, and this Track Edition makes it feel a bit more exclusive and unique. While this special edition is certainly a good move, Jeep should think of launching the new generation of the Compass soon to continue its legacy.
