Jeep Compass And Meridian Get Special Trail Edition! Buyers Also Get An Exclusive “Jeep Trust” Program

The Jeep Compass and Meridian have both received a special Trail Edition with their mid-spec Longitude (O) and Limited (O) variants, respectively. The special edition brings in bespoke cosmetic enhancements, including exterior and interior elements to enhance the style quotient of both these SUVs. Furthermore, Jeep has also introduced a special “Jeep Trust” program for added value and benefits. 

Here’s all you need to know about the special editions and the special Jeep program: 

Jeep Compass Trail Edition

The Jeep Compass Trail Edition is available at Rs 25.41 lakh for the manual variant and Rs 27.41 lakh for the automatic transmission variant. 

On the exterior, you get a special hood, side body decals, and a matte black finish for the grille. Furthermore, it comes with a grey coloured finish on the roof rail inserts, ORVMs, Jeep and Compass badges, rear lower fascia accents, and red-accented front lower fascia. 

It comes with special Granite Metallic Satin Gloss 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels that add a sense of ruggedness. 

Inside, you get black leatherette seats, and the all-black cabin is complemented by contrasting red accents on the dashboard, and red stitching on the steering wheel, gear boot, and seat upholstery. It also comes with all-weather floor mats and dark camouflage graphics to round off the interior updates. 

It gets the 2-litre diesel engine, which makes 170 PS and 350 Nm, and can be had with either a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed automatic transmission. The Compass is also available with an AWD system, but that drivetrain is not available with the Trail variants. 

Jeep Meridian Trail Edition

The Meridian Trail MT is priced at Rs 31.27 lakh, while the automatic retails at Rs 35.27 lakh. With the Meridian, you also get a 4x4 option for Rs 37.27 lakh. 

The Jeep Meridian Trail Edition focuses more on the premium appeal while offering both exterior and interior styling tweaks. The three-row SUV comes with a signature hood decal, Trail Edition badging, and a gloss-black finish for the roof that accentuates its SUV stance. 

You get grey accents on the grille, headlamp surrounds, roof rail inserts, badges, and side cladding. Moreover, it sports piano black treatment on the fog lamp, rear lightbar moulding, ORVMs, and rear lower fascia. For a bit of contrast, it also comes with red inserts up front. A chunky skid plate is offered for a rugged appearance, and you also get blacked-out ORVMs.

The interior comes with an all-black cabin with ruby red accents, giving you a sporty vibe inside. Camouflaged inserts, a piano black centre console, and matching speaker surrounds further elevate the appeal. 

The Meridian gets the familiar 2-litre diesel engine, which generates 170 PS and 350 Nm. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a 9-speed automatic transmission.

Jeep Trust Program 

To offer customers more value, Jeep has introduced a new program called “Jeep Trust”. With this, Compass Trail Edition buyers will get:

•  Complimentary 3-year Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC)

•  5-year Extended Warranty

•  Direct cash benefit of Rs 20,000

Meridian Trail Edition customers will get a complimentary 3-year AMC included in the price.
