New Citroen C5 Aircross Facelift Launch On September 7 highlights

  • New C5 Aircross will get revised front and rear profiles and redesigned interior. 

  • To be equipped with a larger infotainment screen and driver-assistance tech. 

  • Advanced comfort suspension and seats and diesel powertrain to remain unchanged. 

  • Likely to be priced from Rs 37 lakh onwards (ex-showroom). 

Citroen will launch the facelifted version of its flagship SUV, the C5 Aircross, in India on September 7. The SUV gets a revised front end styling, redesigned interior and new features. It’s likely to be priced between Rs 37 lakh and Rs 40 lakh (ex-showroom).  

While the updated C5 Aircross will command a premium over the current model, it will get a slew of new features apart from aesthetic updates. These will include a new 10-inch touchscreen with integrated climate controls and an updated 12.3-inch instrumentation screen that also displays navigation information.

The new C5 Aircross will also get Citroen’s Highway Driver Assist suite of advanced driver-assistance and active safety (ADAS) features that are not offered with the current pre-facelift model. The suite includes forward collision prevention, lane-keeping assist and an adaptive cruise control system with a stop and go function, among other features.

Other than these updates, the C5 Aircross will be equipped with premium features such as a panoramic sunroof and Advanced Comfort seats and suspension. As before, the SUV will be powered by a 177PS 2-litre turbodiesel engine paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
