Citroen has axed the entry-level Feel variant from the C5 Aircross’ variant lineup. This leaves the C5 Aircross down to just one fully-loaded variant on offer and also significantly increases the starting price of the SUV. The sole “Shine” variant comes in both monotone and dualtone colour options. 

Citroen C5 Aircross: A Little About The Feel And Shine Variants! 

With the Feel variant being on offer, the C5 Aircross’ prices used to start at Rs 36.91 lakh, but now the SUV is priced at Rs 39.9 lakh (ex-showroom). This increases the entry price by around Rs 3 lakh. 

The Feel variant was introduced in 2023 with the idea of making the SUV more accessible and affordable. It missed out on a few wow features as well as some premium touches inside the cabin.

The fully-loaded Shine variant comes equipped with amenities like a 10-inch infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple Carplay, 12.3-inch digital driver’s display, a wireless phone charger, a dual-zone climate control, powered driver seat, cruise control, 6 speakers, and an air purifier. 

The safety kit includes six airbags, hill-assist and descent control, reverse parking camera with front and rear sensors, and an electronic parking brake. 

Citroen C5 Aircross

Under the hood, you get a 2-litre diesel engine which makes 177PS and 400Nm. The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and there’s no manual transmission on offer. 

At its price point, it competes with SUVs like the Hyundai Tucson, Jeep Compass and VW Tiguan.
