The 250 CL-X makes 28PS and 22Nm.
Full LED lighting, a digital instrument cluster, USD forks, and slipper clutch are all standard.
Prices are yet to be revealed.
The CFMoto 700 CL-X is a fun mid-capacity neo-retro motorcycle which is quite popular in Southeast Asian markets. So much so that the Chinese company has now introduced a more accessible 250cc version of it for 2022 called the 250 CL-X.
The 250 CL-X takes inspiration from the 700 CL-X. And this isn’t really bad, especially from the design point of view. The brawny fascia with a round LED headlight coupled with a big LED DRL, sleek ribbed seat, and two-tone fuel tank are all reminiscent of the 700 CL-X and make the 250 CL-X a handsome entry-level bike.
To make the package even more attractive, you get features like ABS, all-LED lights, a slip-and-assist clutch, and a digital LCD instrument cluster, again inspired from the 700 CL-X.
Underneath, the 250 CL-X packs a 250cc, single-cylinder motor belting out 28PS and 22Nm – more or less on par with other neo-retro 250cc bikes like the Husqvarna Svartpilen 250.
Meanwhile, the bike rolls on 17-inch alloy wheels, sprung on a USD fork and a monoshock.
CFMoto is yet to put a price on the new 250 CL-X. The official launch will first take place in China, followed by other international markets. Considering the package, the CFMoto 250 CL-X could do well in India too, if the company launches it here.
