Along with the updates, a new Combat Edition colour variant has been launched as well

Quick Highlights:

  • Hero has silently launched the 2025 Karizma XMR 210 in India

  • Now gets a USD fork and a TFT display in the top variant

  • Combat Edition has been launched as well, it’s just a new colour based on the top variant with a slightly more premium price tag

Hero MotoCorp has silently launched the 2025 Karizma XMR 210 in India, and it is now available in three variants: Base, Top and Combat Edition. The new top and Combat Editions get an inverted telescopic fork and a 4.2-inch TFT display, the same as the recently launched XPulse 210. Hero had unveiled this variant at the 2024 EICMA show in November last year, and the Combat Edition was teased in January 2025.

Revised Lineup

While the base variant remains the same and is priced at Rs 1,81,400, the new Top and Combat Edition command a premium and are priced at Rs 1,99,750 and Rs 2,01,500 (ex-showroom), respectively.

Better Than Before

Hero brought back the famed ‘Karizma’ moniker back in August 2023 with the Karizma XMR 210. It received Hero’s first liquid-cooled engine and a revamped design language which had some hints of the OG Karizma. While the Karizma XMR 210 was better in every aspect, it lacked in terms of equipment when compared to its rivals. To solve that, Hero has launched the 2025 Karizma XMR 210 in the form of a new ‘Top’ variant. Though it shares the same 210cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine as the Base variant, it gets an USD fork, and a new 4.2-inch TFT display which supports smartphone connectivity. The TFT display is the same as the one on Hero XPulse 210 and is quite simple and easy to read. The Combat Edition gets the same USD fork and TFT display as the Top variant but a different grey coloured paint scheme. The yellow highlights on the bike offer a nice contrast to the grey colour, and looks pretty sporty.

What The Future Holds

Contrary to the rumours of the XMR 210 getting discontinued, Hero has just launched the 2025 Karizma XMR 210. That said, it also plans to launch the Karizma XMR 250 in India soon. The Karizma XMR 250 will share the same engine as the Xtreme 250R but will command a fair premium over the current Karizma 210. We expect the Karizma XMR 250 to be priced at Rs 2.15 lakh (ex-showroom), and it could be sold alongside the new Top variant of the Karizma XMR 210 while the Base variant might be discontinued. The XMR 210 will have to stay for at least some time if Hero were to justify the launch of this new variant. Will there be cannibalisation of the Karizma 210 once the XMR 250 is launched? Only time will tell.

ZigSays

With the new updates, the Hero Karizma XMR 210 writes a compelling story for itself. The superior equipment and more features make the Karizma a better value-for-money product when compared to its rivals, the Bajaj Pulsar RS200 and the Yamaha R15 V4 in India.
