The first units of the recently launched Audi Q3 are set to reach customers by the end of the year. Post-pandemic era has seen carmakers bask in its sales figures as the industry regains the lost momentum. Audi is one of those manufacturers, enjoying a good stint with almost 700 additional units sold in the first nine months of 2022, compared to the same interval the previous year.

The upshot of the 2947 sold units in the first nine months of 2022 is a 29% year-on-year increase in sales which will be further aided by the Q3. The luxury SUV has always been an integral part of the brand’s sales records in the past as it once was the entry-level ticket into Audi ownership. The brand also recorded a 73% growth in its pre-owned business in the first nine months of 2022.

The German marque currently has a host of vehicles in its portfolio, including the recently launched Q7 and A8L, along with the A4, S5, and A6 (sedans), and the Q3, Q5, and Q8 SUVs. Its sporty ‘RS’ division spans the RS Q8 SUV, RS 5 Sportback sedan, and the RS e-tron GT coupe. Audi’s electric segment contains the e-tron GT coupe, and e-tron and e-tron Sportback SUVs.

Audi has been active in setting up infrastructure for supporting the EV revolution, with more than 100 chargers installed in 60+ cities across India. The stations are present at every Audi dealership and workshop, along with touch points across numerous highways in the country.
