Hyundai’s Venue has been one of the South Korean carmaker’s most popular models. After the blockbuster sales performance of the first-generation car, it is gearing up to build on the success with a brand-new second-generation model. Now, we can confirm that the 2025 Venue will launch on November 4. But what will the 2025 Venue get? Here are the deets:
While the 2025 Venue is expected to be based on the same K1 platform as the outgoing version, it will get a completely new exterior design for a fresher look. From the spyshots we have seen till now, we can confirm that at the front, it will be getting a rectangular grille flanked by vertically-stacked headlamps like the Alcazar. Hyundai will also add distinct C-shaped DRLs on the outer edge of the bumper. As for the side profile, the Venue gets more prominent roof rails and a new alloy wheel design. Details of the rear-end design are not known, but overall, we expect the Venue to get taller and wider to address the outgoing car’s cramped interior space.

From the spyshots we have seen till now, the 2025 Venue will get a completely new interior, updated to give a more premium in-cabin experience. It will get a new dashboard with a curved dual-10.25-inch screen setup for the touchscreen infotainment and digital instrument cluster. The centre AC vents are now placed below the touchscreen, with the climate control panel now becoming touch-based. You will also notice a new steering wheel design not seen in any other Hyundai product in India right now.

We also expect Hyundai to offer a more spacious backseat and a panoramic sunroof for a more airy feeling for passengers.
While details regarding the equipment list are not known, we expect Hyundai to offer many first-in-class features as part of a very long equipment list. It could get features such as the aforementioned panoramic sunroof, ventilated and powered front seats, multiple wireless phone chargers, ventilated rear seat base, auto-dimming inside rearview mirror, dual-zone climate control and a powered tailgate. The safety list is expected to include an upgraded Level 2 ADAS suite along with 6 airbags, electronic stability control, hill hold assist, 360 degree camera and tyre pressure monitoring system.
Under the hood, the 2025 Venue is expected to offer the same powertrain options as the outgoing car, which include 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol, 1-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines. Here are the detailed specifications for these powertrains:

Considering all the new additions and a larger size, the new Venue is expected to be priced from Rs 8-14 lakh(ex-showroom). Stay tuned for more details on the 2025 Hyundai Venue.
In terms of rivals, the Venue will face competition from subcompact SUVs like the Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, Nissan Magnite, Skoda Kylaq and Mahindra XUV 3XO.

The Hyundai Venue has been one of our top recommendations for those looking for a premium experience in a compact and affordable package, and we expect the second-generation model to be an even more attractive deal. What will add the cherry on the cake will be a 5-star crash test rating to make it a complete package.
