As seen from the table, Tata’s 120PS 1.2-litre Revotron turbo-petrol engine is available throughout the lineup, save for just the top-spec Accomplished + A trim.

The new 125PS Hyperion turbo-petrol is more exclusive, and is limited to the higher end trims, starting from the Creative S variant. The diesel engine too is available throughout the lineup, but its automatic has been given a skip for the Smart and Creative variants.
Here’s a look at the powertrain specifications of the newly revealed Tata Curvv:

The 120PS 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine will offer a budget friendly engine option to the customers. The new 125PS turbo-petrol engine is limited to the higher variants and will be the option to choose for people wanting punchy performance from their SUV coupe.

The diesel engine will serve as an option for people with high mileage who want a low running cost. Good thing that it is available throughout the lineup, so both budget tight customers and no budget constraint customers can opt for one.

All the three engines can be paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT (dual clutch transmission).
While Tata has already revealed everything about the Curvv, its prices will be out on September 2.

It could be sold from Rs 10.5 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards. It’ll rival the Citroen Basalt, and also other compact SUVs like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Honda Elevate and MG Astor.
