MG Motors India has given the reason for the price reduction by citing improvements in supply chain efficiency, substantial savings in logistics expenses over the past quarters, and reductions in specific input material costs. These factors have enabled the company to introduce special pricing for customers during the festive season.

In terms of features, the ZS EV includes a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, a digital driver’s display, a 360-degree camera, climate control, connected car tech, cruise control, a powered driver’s seat, panoramic sunroof, and auto headlights and wipers.
Its safety kit comprises 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, a tyre pressure monitor, and ADAS features in the form of blind spot warning, lane change assist, autonomous braking, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking assist.

The MG ZS EV is powered by an electric motor that delivers 176PS/280Nm. It packs a 50.3kWh battery pack which provides a claimed range of 461km. The battery can be recharged via multiple options including a 50kW fast charger that recharges the battery in about 60 minutes from 0 to 80 percent.

The MG ZS EV continues to rival with the likes of the Hyundai Kona Electric and can be considered a premium alternative to the Mahindra XUV400 and Tata Nexon EV Long Range.
