The Hyundai Creta EV has been snapped testing once and this time around, the spy shots give us a clear look at its cabin. Set for introduction in early 2025, the Creta EV will be the Korean marque’s first mass market electric car for our shores. Without further ado, let’s discern from what we see in these spy images.
Designwise, the Creta EV’s cabin is largely similar to the standard ICE model that’s on sale today. It gets the connected 10.25-inch screens for the touchscreen infotainment system and digital driver’s display, the latter, obviously, with EV-specific graphics. It also comes with a small magnetic pad for sticking your parking tickets or notes.

There are minor differences, though, such as the new three-spoke steering wheel and the column mounted gear selector. Plus, the dashboard is finished in beige, hinting that the interior could get a different colour scheme.
The Creta EV is expected to get all the equipment from the current car, including the aforementioned screens, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, powered driver’s seat, ventilated front seats, ambient lighting and a Bose sound system.

Safety should be taken care of by six airbags, ABS with EBD, front and rear parking sensors, electronic stability control, a 360-degree camera and most importantly, ADAS.
Technical specifications of the upcoming Hyundai Creta are yet to be divulged. That said, we expect it to be offered with multiple battery pack and electric motor combinations with a claimed range exceeding 400 km. Also, considering that Hyundai and Kia have tied up with Exide for local battery manufacturing, it’s likely that the Creta EV could get the same for more competitive pricing.

The Hyundai Creta EV is expected to be priced from around Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom). It will lock horns with the MG ZS EV as well as the upcoming Tata Curvv and Maruti Suzuki eVX.
