    It has got AMT (Automated Manual Transmission) in all the variants except base model. It offers very comfortable ride in thick traffic as well as highways. The mileage economy is very encouraging with not less than 21 km per litre in highways. Often it will be 23 if you drive early hours in the morning. However in city don't expect above 15.

    Ignis has an AMT system and not a proper automatic transmission (CVT, DCT). It is a good system for easy drive-ability in the city traffic, especially.

    A good overpowered car with suzuki’s reliable k12 engine.During my honeymoon in udaipur, I opted for an ignis to drive to kumbhalgarh fort, And after returning from udaipur, The first thing i did, Was, Booking of the car.Smooth, Mile muncher, Calm these three things would best describe the car, Acceleration is good, As the same engine even powers an oversized baleno.Only drawback is the bridgestone ecopia tyres, Which can be upgraded later.
