  • All variants are feature rich. Thanks to its large dimensions and muscular design it has a lot of road presence.

Tata Harrier

  • Large size and strong road presence
  • premium interior quality with persona-based interior
  • rich features list and tech package
  • advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) features are India-friendly to use

Q. What is the different between W8 and W10 variant of this car - XUV500?
  • Sorry, but neither the W8 nor the W10 variant is available for the xuv. But between the W9 and W11 variant the difference is that the W11 gets logo projection lamps on ORVM but W9 doesn't. Otherwise all the features which are present in the top variant W11 are present in W9. Also the W9 costs less than W11.
  • W8 is better than w10
  • W10 was better, but currently the Mahindra have changed it to W11

Q. Which one is better xuv 500 or innova crysta?
  • As a car, the Crysta is way better in terms of drive quality, power, space and finishing. But it comes at a almost 3-5 lac dearer price tag. Crysta will also get you better second hand price post 3-5 years of ownership.... BUT.... nothing like the road presence of an XUV500. I have been following the car since its launch in 2012 but only now I feel like Mahindra got its drive quality right. XUV500 is super loaded in terms of features and cost a whole 3-5 lacs less at comparable models.. how I decided between the two was... when i get off the vehicle and hand the key to the valet guy.. the valet should love taking care of my beautiful car.. and you can make an Innova as premium as you want, the valet will always drive it like a van!
  • Xuv500 bro its features and safety and its looks bro i had a accident with my xuv a innova came at 40 to 50 kmph and crashed its front end into xuv500 backend and the xuv had minemal damage innova had some major damage front end was gone radiator was leaking and bumper and headlight was like gone only and the xuv also had a shelid behind but it directly at the bumper it had some scratches and one of the number plate lights fell but much part hit on the bumper and trunk
  • First of all thats a wrong conparison. First you should decide on, whether you want a mpv or suv. Crysta is an mpv and xuv is suv. Capabilities are totally different. Regarding performance, offroading and anywhere go xuv leads. Being a monocoque it offers a decent ride quality also. But second row ride is better with crysta than xuv. Crysta is a for overall comfort(all rows). In terms of safety, both are almost equal, but xuv is more tough and stable on road and offroad.. Mileage also, xuv leads by some 2kmpl or so. Engine life, both are heavy duty engines. Both have a similar maintenance cost too..Now, regarding resale value, crysta has got more resale value than xuv, thanks to toyota brand name.

    Decent Car

It's a decent vehicle, although it can be a bit cumbersome for city driving on occasion. It provides a fuel economy of approximately 13-14 kilometers per liter in the city and 17 kilometers per liter on the highway. The only significant issue I've encountered is a power loss caused by modulator failure, which incurred a cost of around 3k, including labor. The vehicle has comfortable seats and ample space, although the last row is quite cramped. If you use the last row, there won't be any room left for luggage. The suspension is notably subpar. The infotainment system encountered early failures, and the repair or replacement costs are substantial. Additionally, there were some metal fatigue noises experienced on hilly roads. Overall, it's a decent vehicle if you take good care of it.

    Sporty and modern look

It look sporty and modern and the boot space is very large and the interior is very lovely and in terms of sporty interior it is the best. For long journey it is comfortable and the spacing is very nice and is a wide car so there is no problem with this and the 2 litres diesel engine is fantastic and the steering is very light. It is always a fun to drive and the engine noise is now improved. The pickup is very good and gives good performance for the sport mode but the sport mode gives high noise.

    level up my driving

The Tata Harrier impresses with its rugged yet refined design, offering ample space for five passengers and their luggage. With a mileage of 16 kmpl, it strikes a good balance between fuel efficiency and performance. The SUV handles well on various terrains, thanks to its all-wheel-drive capability. However, the interior could use more premium materials to enhance the overall luxury feel. Safety features like airbags and ABS ensure peace of mind. Overall, the Harrier is a family-friendly SUV suitable for both city driving and off-road adventures, with room for improvement in interior quality.
