- At its introductory price of Rs 4.99 lakh - Rs 9.35 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), the Nissan Magnite is a very tempting proposition and takes a different position vs its many rivals. This pricing will be applicable only till 31 December but along with that, this package does have some compromises too. For example, the cabin experience isn’t rich and fitment quality is of a budget grade. While it does get a turbo petrol engine, it isn’t complemented with a driving dynamics package that’s particularly exciting. Of course, Nissan’s sales and service network is also going into revival mode and its rivals have a clear upper hand here. Simply put, if you want the most premium and sophisticated pick from the segment, the Magnite probably isn’t for you. But if you want an SUV that’s spacious, practical, well loaded and comfortable to drive, all delivered at a price tag that’s serious value for money, the Magnite is certainly worth considering. On the other hand, the Sonet is ticking all the right boxes otherwise. It’s delivering on the wow factor with pukka mini-SUV looks, quality interiors and a feature list that’d make you question paying a premium for larger SUVs. It’s being sensible and practical too, with loads of cubby holes and a large boot. You get proper automatics, and the engines on offer cover a wide range of usage. - Kia has service issue with parts unavailable all the time and also Kia is plagued with engine issue. Nissan Magnite has better offing and more feature but costs lesser than Magnite
- My wife booked XV turbo variant on 22nd December, 2020. Were informed that car will be delivered 6-8 weeks. After months of follow-up, they provided estimated delivery date on 15th Sep 2021. Very pathetic customer service by Nissan

- We can't give any verdict about their structural strength as both cars haven't been tested by NCAP yet. If we talk about Nissan Magnite, it gets a pretty decent build quality. If we talk about its interior, the finish quality of the plastics is smooth and the grey fabric on the door pads is a thoughtful touch. However, the plastics don’t feel as robust or thick as they do in a Sonet, Venue, XUV300 or even EcoSport. Even the fitment quality is of a budget grade, with bits like the center console flexing/moving about when you fiddle with it. We’d say it’s a step up compared to the Vitara Brezza but it’s acceptable, not exceptional. On the orther hand, if we talk about Aura, its interior is premium and good fit and finishing. We have to appreciate the quality of the fabric used in the upholstery on the seat. They feel just right for Indian summers, and we’d pick them over leather/leatherette upholstery for sure. - AURA Not yet performed crash test and same sibling version NIOS got only 2 star safety rating. The same 65% (AHSS & HSS) high strength steel used in NIOS as well but failed to prove build quality in crash test. Then you can decide which one is better in the Build quality.

Its one of the best car's under 7l.If you even take the xe or xl its more than enough to perform.The 1000cc na engine does feel like a 1200cc engine power.If you consider a hatchback or premium hatchback better purchase a magnite.
