The Yamaha Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid is a family-oriented scooter which has a stylish and curvy design
It gets a hybrid assist which Yamaha claims improves the mileage and performance of the scooter
The scooter gets decent features and exciting colour options

Design

Curvy And Handsome

The Yamaha Fascino has a Vespa-like design which is evident through its curvy body panels and swooping rear end
It has a vintage flair which is unmatched by any other scooter in its segment
It comes in 10 colour schemes giving the consumer a lot of options to choose from
The 2026 iteration gets a revised tail section with a new tail light and indicators
The design might not be to everyone’s taste, some may find it a bit polarizing

Performance & Mileage

Very Fuel Efficient

The 125cc engine paired with the mild-hybrid assist delivers good mid-range punch which makes the scooter a hoot to ride in the city
This also allows it to perform quicker overtakes as it essentially fills in the torque lag ICE scooters are known for
The Fascino is very fuel efficient too and returned a tested mileage of 68kmpl in city riding conditions
While the roll-on acceleration (20-50kmph) has improved by half a second, the acceleration from 0 to 60kmph has gone down by 0.26 seconds compared to the non-hybrid version
The engine is not as smooth as before and one can feel vibrations on the floorboard and the handlebars

The seat is wide and long enough for both rider and pillion, and has a large floorboard
No apron-mounted glovebox available even as an option
