Q. Is Volvo XC40 available on diesel
  • Volvo XC40 is exclusively available with a 2.0-litre D4 petrol engine good for 190 horses and 400Nm of torque, with AWD as standard.
Q. Between Volkswagen Tiguan and Volvo XC40, which is better?
  • Both Volvo XC40 and Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace are brilliant SUVs with powerful engines, premium quality interiors and supple ride quality. The baby SUV from Volvo is powered by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder petrol unit that churns out 190PS of power and 400Nm of torque paired with an 8-speed transmission that sends power to all four wheels. The SUV offers some segment-first features such as 12.3-inch TFT display in place of the instrument cluster and a 13-speaker Harman Kardon audio system. It also gets unique safety tech like lane assist, adaptive cruise control and pilot assist. On the other hand, the bigger Tiguan Allspace gets a 2.0-litre TSI engine developing 190PS of power and 320Nm of torque. It’s offered with a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox and four-wheel drive technology. The Allspace comes with a digital driver’s display, connected car technology, a panoramic sunroof and an 8-inch infotainment system while the safety features include 7 airbags, electronic stability control as well as electronic parking brake with auto-hold function. The Tiguan Allspace is available in a 7-seating configuration while the XC40 offers seating capacity for 5 people. The Allspace is a very practical car with loads of features and is backed by a better service network, whereas, if you buy a Volvo, it is a statement of sophistication in itself. And the XC40 personifies it. Read More:- Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace vs Volvo XC40- Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace Launched In India At Rs 33.13 Lakh - 2 020 Volvo XC40 T4 R-Design: FIrst Drive Review
Q. How much does it cost for insurance renewal - XC40?
  • Here’s a forum-ready response tailored to the discussion link you shared: I recently went through my own health insurance renewal and realized how tricky it can get just trying to understand if your coverage is enough. On paper, my policy seemed fine, but after a minor hospitalization, I noticed gaps I hadn’t anticipated—especially with room rent limits and newer treatment costs. That’s when I tried **Bima Analyze**; I just entered some basic info like my PIN code, family size, insurer, and sum insured, and it gave me a detailed evaluation factoring in location costs, claim patterns, and policy nuances. It even provided a **BimaScore** so I could see clearly how strong my coverage really was. Honestly, it made me rethink the way I renew policies every year, instead of just going by premium amounts. For anyone unsure about their renewal, it’s worth checking—it gave me real clarity.[Analyze Your Policy Now → If you want, I can also craft a slightly more conversational version that fits casual back-and-forth replies on Zigwheels forums. Do you want me to do that?
  • Here’s a forum-ready response tailored for the thread you shared: ---I faced something similar recently when trying to renew my health insurance online—none of the payment methods seemed to work, and I was worried about coverage lapses. What helped me was taking a step back and actually evaluating my policy before renewing blindly. I used **Bima Analyze**, which is super simple: you just enter basic details like sum insured, insurer, and family structure, and it checks 100+ real-world factors. It showed me where my existing plan was strong and where it could leave gaps, which was an eye-opener.Honestly, having that clarity made me rethink whether to just renew or tweak coverage, because it’s easy to assume a plan is adequate until you look at it carefully. If anyone else feels unsure about their policy, **you can try analyzing it here**: ---If you want, I can also draft a slightly **more conversational version** that fits the casual forum banter style of this thread. Do you want me to do that?
  • There are a number of insurance companies and plans available for the insurance renewal and we would suggest you to get in touch with them for exact details. Moreover, you may visit our sister concern website 'Insurancedekho' for more information on the same.

XC40 2018-2022 Key Highlights

Features: If you’re one of the wealthy younglings in the market for a luxury SUV, we’d bet you’d want something unique. That begins with the platform of the XC40. This SUV is the first model ever to be based on Volvo’s Compact Modular Architecture or CMA. That aside, the design does have distinctive Volvo elements like the concave front grille and “Thor’s Hammer” DRLs but the latter gets its own little styling tweak. The profile doesn't look like any other Volvo either. The short and stout stance, flat bonnet and squared off pillars make the look, say SUV, not crossover, which automatically gives it a distinctive allure. It even sits tall on a cool set of 18-inch alloy wheels and offers a full 211mm of ground clearance. For an SUV targeted towards new and millennial luxury car buyers, the driving position has some old-school charm. You do sit perched up while overlooking the bonnet, so this certainly won't give you the hatchback-on-tippy-toes vibe. Fit and finish quality is appreciable too, and feels premium, especially because of the Alcantara + faux leather-draped seats. But Volvo has made some minor concessions for costs. The plastic quality, for example, isn't as rich as it is in larger Volvos. The features list is long though. The 9-inch touchscreen has been carried over from big Volvos and includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Safety features like the lane-keeping aid, radar-guided cruise control, hill start and hill descent control, and park pilot assist all come as standard. Other features include 2-zone climate control with rear AC vents, heated front and rear seats, an inductive phone charger, a panoramic sunroof and a 13-speaker Harman Kardon sound system.

Engine: The 2.0-litre D4 engine’s good for 190 horses and 400Nm of torque, with AWD as standard. And while the on-paper figures match the sporty BMW X1, the experience isn't the same. The XC40 is billed as an out and out city slicker. A job it does well. The performance presents no surprises, pleasant or unpleasant. Power delivery is relaxed and whether it's commuting, cruising or making quick overtakes, the XC40 has exactly enough.

Rivals: BMW X1: While the old X1 was a touch too compact, the new X1 gets a healthy dose of muscle, more space and above all else, a sporty drive experience, second to none of its rivals in the segment. Mercedes-Benz GLA: A well-loaded and stylish SUV that’s found a lot of takers among young luxury buyers. The GLA’s cabin quality and design finesse make it very desirable. Audi Q3: The Q3 is definitely starting to show its age but with frugal petrol and diesel engines and a practical interior, it still tempts a lot of first time luxury brand buyers.

Variants: The XC40 will be offered only in one fully loaded R-Design variant, so every feature in the list comes as standard. At launch, it will be available with three exterior colour choices (Crystal White, Bursting Blue & Fusion Red. All with black roof.) and two interior palettes (all black or black with bright orange).
