BIKE IS GOOD TILL THERE IS NO TROUBLE BUT THE MOMENT YOU HAVE AN ISSUE, MOST OFTEN THE DEALERS ARE NOT ABLE TO ADDRESS IT IN ONE GO AND REQUIRES MULTIPLE VISITS WITH BELOW AVERAGE EXPERTISE LEVEL. COMPANY RESPONSE TO CUSTOMER CARE IS POOR AND MOST OFTEN THEY ARE IN SUPPORT OF THERE DEALERS ONLY AND YOU ARE MADE TO GO BACK TO THE DEALER ONLY IN SPITE OF REPEATED REQUESTS FOR A CHANGE OF DEALER DUE TO POOR WORKMANSHIP AND EXPERTISE. THE BIKE IS CERTAINLY NOT TROUBLE FREE WITH HIGH VIBRATION LEVELS BUT IT MORE THAN COMPENSATES FOR WITH HIGH TORQUE AND GOOD ACCELERATION.

I am using desert storm 500 since2013, Its acceleration is superb, Fuel economy on highway @45to46 kmpl, In city@35kmpl, Zero engine repair cost, Bike used on leh-ladhak roads without stoppage and also goa tour, Still it's in very good condition, Using daily.Battery, Chain sprocket, Cables, Oil chage are routing maintaince.I owned, 1962 model, Scram411, Gt650 but desert storm is best of all these bikes because, Kick start option, Fuel economy, Service cost reasonable, Thanks royal enfield for 500cc model.

It is the best retro bike and this colour is loved by everyone. Personally I also own a classic 350 gunmetal grey and I have done regular 1200 kms ride in 11 hours from chennai to palakkad and back frequently. It is a value for money bike and good for commuting touring and also a little bit of offroading. Like people says it can take you places with roads or without roads 35 to 36 kmpl is decent mileage for a 500 cc single cylinder mill

Stylish design and thump is awesome. But this bike vibrates too much after 80 km/ hr. Even i use motul 5100 still its uncomfortable. Build quality of bike is going down day by day. Welding joints are not cleaned properly and directly painted. Chrome parts get rusty. To get optimum comfort one need to change handle bar seats. RE service centre charge you unnecessary for unwanted spare parts. I am using this bike for past 5 years and mileage never goes below 32kmpl. On bombay goa road via pune i got 43kmpl average. It depends on your riding style. If you run always above 100 then petrol consumption is rapid. Maintain speen between 60 to 90 on fifth gear. Its awesome bike on of my best buy but company is just making money by selling cheap quality product.

Wounderfull bike to ride please the town, Good for under 100 kmph, Keep it clean & maintained well, Rest it will take care of self and you, Just keep yourself strong with dead lifts, Squats sumultanoius

I have been using this bike from 4 years, Initially it was felt smooth riding and now the ride has become rough.I feel a lot of scope to refine the royal enfield engines.Sometimes the power is not sufficient to enjoy the ride in little exciting mode, Believe royal enffiled should work on improving power.

Royal enfield is a superb bike its smoothness is very good and mileage is also decent.In short, A very nice package at great price.

I am getting avg of 35 with this beast.Only problem is service centre.They can't even make the chain noise.I had to go for a local repair shop for that.Rest all is good.👌👌👍👍.

The machine with bs3 engine.Milage is short but the bike comes with good torque.Suspension is good compared to 350 carburettor (bs4) it comes with fi on 2014 that is very impressive and iam totally satisfied as a 500cc owner.Vibration is very high on 100-120 but it is not a sports bike so i prefer 90kmph is the sweet spot of my bike.

Royal Enfield classic 500 is my favourite and dream bike. It has a super-powerful engine that has been used which makes it better. Its super-speed is my favourite which is 130+ kmph and also mileage 30-32 kmpl which is good while driving.
