Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650

The Royal Enfield 650cc cruiser has been spotted testing yet again. But this time, it was spotted abroad in a production-ready avatar, laden with accessories. Here’s all the dirt. We believe the upcoming cruiser could be called the Super Meteor 650 and we have a few reasons to back this up. 

The Royal Enfield 650cc cruiser features twin exhausts, round indicators, USD fork, backrest, glossy black bodywork, broad split seats, and a tall, transparent windscreen. 

Some of these bits like the leg guard, windscreen, and backrest will probably be sold as separate accessories and not standard, considering the bike was previously spotted without any of these goodies.

These aside, the bike will be powered by the same 648cc twin-cylinder thumper as the Interceptor 650, without any changes to the output or the engine tune.

Royal Enfield could launch the Super Meteor 650 around mid-2022. Expect it to be priced at around Rs 3.5 lakh (ex-showroom), which will make it the most expensive bike in the company’s portfolio. The only alternative will be the Kawasaki Vulcan S.
