Cheap plastics

4.7

Initially i planned to buy a creta or seltos after selling my honda city.Didn't have kicks in mind.Test driven both kia and creta. Was not satisfied with cretas suspension and the accident which broke it in to two pieces was hauting me.Fixed creta dct and paid the booking price. It was then i read about kicks.Just decided to test drive it.My goodness. It was a game changing experience. The cvt.No words to say. What a driving experience. The power. The torque. The build quality. All were unmatched the negatives i felt were. The interiors though built classy were not as much attractive compared to seltos or creta.Creta has premium looking interiors made from cheap plastics. The absence of sunroof (inspite i know it's just another gimmick)bothered me a little. But this negatives were nullified in front of kicks performance and ride quality.Immediately canceled creta booking and ordered the kicks.

Questions & Answers on Nissan Kicks

Q. What are the engine specifications of the Nissan Kicks?
  • Nissan’s compact SUV was offered with a choice of two engines - a 1.5-litre petrol, and a 1.3-litre turbo-petrol. The naturally aspirated petrol motor makes 106PS/142Nm and came paired with a 5-speed gearbox. On the other hand, the 1.3-liter turbo-petrol mill engine produced 156PS and 254Nm to make it the most powerful engine option in the Kicks' lineup. Transmission options included a 5-speed manual and a CVT gearbox.
Q. What safety features are offered in Nissan Kicks?
  • Passenger safety was ensured by four airbags, ABS with EBD and electronic stability control (ESC).
Q. I am planning to buy kicks 1500 petrol. Am confused especially when I compare it with Nexon. Which is a better buy. I drive around 60km a day
  • We appreciate your choice. Both the cars are good in their own forte. Nissan Kicks is a car for those who are looking for a properly stylish compact SUV. It’s for those who appreciate quality and are either buying an additional smaller (relatively) car for the family or want to upgrade their drive experience from an already premium sub-compact vehicle as the Kicks doesn’t feel big despite being amongst the largest cars in its segment, though its striking youthful design and premium quality interior work in its favour. Tata Nexon, on the other hand, continues to be a sensible small SUV for the family. It does become the default choice if you want space for five and their luggage, and a comfortable ride. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test drive before making the final decision for a better understanding of performance and comfort. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details.
Q. Which is better between Kia Seltos HTX vs Nissan Kicks CVT XV Premium? I have booked Seltos with 3 months waiting but after test drove Kicks, I feel it is really great in terms of Engine Response, Power, Smoothness, great suspension, nice sound system than Seltos, Tinted glasses, HSA, Auto on-off during stops, machinsed alloy wheels....while the interior and instruments cluster average compared to Seltos. Now which one to go?
  • The Nissan Kicks would be a brilliant pick if you are looking for an SUV with premium design inside-out, powerful turbo petrol and CVT automatic option and brilliant ride quality. The Nissan Kicks has the potential to be an exciting alternative in the compact crossover segment - it looks exciting, has well-appointed interiors, has one of the most balanced ride characteristics in its segment, and has some segment-first features like a 360-degree reversing camera. The new turbo petrol means it's also the most powerful in the segment. However, it does have a few other small niggles, like the blanked out steering controls and the missing 60-40 split for the rear bench but it makes up for this with good highway driveability and excellent ride quality. You may pick the Nissan if you prefer better drivability and ride quality.
Q. Is Nissan Kicks good or not? Suggest an SUV with more ground clearance?
  • Nissan kicks is a brilliant offering in the crossover compact segment. It looks exciting, has well-appointed interiors, has one of the most balanced ride characteristics in its segment, and has some segment-first features like a 360-degree reversing camera. Also, the 156PS, 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine is the most powerful engine option in the segment. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test drive before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details.
Q. What is the price of top-spec variant of Kicks?
  • Nissan India, has launched the BS6-compliant 2020 Kicks at prices starting from Rs 9.50 lakh (ex-showroom) and four variants- XL, XV, XV Premium and XV Premium (O). You may click on the following link and select your desired city for an estimated on-road price.
