Hyundai India has revealed the exterior design of the Alcazar facelift and commenced bookings for the refreshed three-row SUV. Prices are set to be announced on September 9, but the Korean carmaker has already revealed the variants and engine options of the upcoming 2024 Alcazar facelift. So in this report, we are going to explain which engine option is offered with which variant for you to make an informed decision.
The 2024 Hyundai Alcazar facelift will be offered in four broad trims: Executive, Prestige, Platinum and Signature. The three-row SUV can be had either as a 6-seater with captain seats for the middle row or as a 7-seater with a bench. Engine options remain unchanged, meaning that it will continue with its 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and diesel engines, paired with manual and automatic transmissions.

With the facelift, Hyundai India has introduced a new entry-level Executive variant.
The six-seater option is limited to the higher-end Signature and Platinum variants.
The manual gearbox with both engines is offered in the first three variants and can be had as a 7-seater only.
Meanwhile, the automatic gearbox is limited to the top two variants and can be had either as a 7-seater or a 6-seater.
You can’t have the Alcazar manual either in the top-spec trim nor in a 6-seater configuration.
The Alcazar, as mentioned above, will be offered with a 160 PS 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and 116 PS 1.5-litre diesel engine. A 6-speed manual transmission is offered as standard, while automatic options include a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic for the turbo-petrol and 6-speed torque converter for the diesel.

The Hyundai Alcazar facelift is expected to be priced from around Rs 17 lakh (ex-showroom). It will renew its rivalry with the Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus and three-row versions of the Mahindra XUV700.
