Seems like it isn’t just B-town celebrities that have started to take a liking towards the new Land Rover Range Rover, as Shikhar Dhawan, an Indian cricket player, just bought himself a new Range Rover Autobiography. The Range Rover is the pinnacle of the carmaker’s range and represents luxury of the highest level. In India, it is offered in five broad trims, namely SE, HSE, Autobiography, First Edition and SV. All of these are further available in a standard or a long-wheelbase iteration and come in 4-, 5-, and 7-seaters configurations.

The entire lineup of the Range Rover gets some sort of electrification or the other. The 3-litre petrol, 3-litre diesel and 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 powertrains are all paired to a mild-hybrid technology, while the smaller 3-litre, six-cylinder petrol engine can also be had with a plug-in hybrid technology, and you can know all about it here.

Being the flagship of the Range Rover’s lineup, the SUV exudes sheer opulence, not just in the way the materials make you feel, but also the execution of features. A few of the highlights include a 13.1-inch touchscreen system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 24-way heated and cooled massage electric front seats with executive class rear seats, four zone climate control and a Meridian surround system.

The exact spec and trim of Shikhar Dhawan’s Range Rover isn’t confirmed, but we can see that he’s chosen a shade of black, which is contrasted by the Silver inserts on the side sills and alloys. On the inside, he has specced the SUV with a black/red interior that looks delicious. A few of his other rides include a BMW M8 and a Mercedes-Benz GL-Class, so it's clear that the Range Rover will be in good company.

Prices for the Land Rover Range Rover sit between Rs 2.39 crore and Rs 4.17 crore (ex-showroom). The flagship SUV rivals other flagship luxury offerings like the Bentley Bentayga, Mercedes-Maybach GLS, and Rolls Royce Cullinan.
