Carmakers try many marketing tricks to lure customers but, in essence, only two stand out. One is by scaring them, or should we say threatening them, about a noticeable price hike in the pipeline, and the other is by offering mouth-watering discounts. The latter mostly come in the month of December and we don’t really need to specify the reasons. This time around Tata Motors has opted for the second technique and has come up with some pretty delicious discounts.

In typical Tata fashion, these year-end discount offers have been christened as ‘Mega Offer Max Celebration campaign’. Let’s burst your bubble of hope first. There are no discounts on the Nexon. However, attractive offers are available on five passenger vehicles - the Hexa, Tiago, Tigor, Zest and the Safari Storme. Customers can drive away with a down payment of just Re 1 and avail discounts up to Rs 1 lakh. While the former has been made possible through specific financiers and banks to offer up to 100 per cent funding, the latter is comprised of vehicle insurance at Re 1 and an exchange bonus.

Here’s a compilation of offers available on Tata cars that are available till December 31, 2017.
