Kriti Kharbanda, one of the rising ladies of Bollywood, known for her work in films like Housefull 4, Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana, and 14 Phere, has treated herself to a brand new Range Rover Velar specced in white. The actress, who has been making waves in the industry with her exceptional acting skills, joins the myriad of B-town celebrities that own a Land Rover.

The Range Rover Velar sits on the more luxurious side of the Land Rover spectrum. It boasts a sleek and contemporary design with clean lines making up the exterior.

The Velar is available with both petrol and diesel engine options and Kriti reportedly opted for the latter of the two, which also happens to be a mild-hybrid powertrain. The engine is a 2.0-litre unit producing 204PS and 430 Nm and of course, power is delivered to all four wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The Velar boasts of several creature comforts including a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display and two 10-inch touchscreens for controls of the main infotainment system and HVAC. Other niceties include active road noise cancellation, a 3D 360-degree surround camera, a PM2.5 air filter, a 12-speaker Meridian sound system, and 14-way powered front seats with memory function. And because the SUV is offered in the R-Dynamic S trim, it gets burnished copper around the bumpers, bonnet vents and side vents on the inside.

The Range Rover Velar is priced from Rs 89.41 lakh (ex-showroom) in the country. There is already a facelifted version on sale in the UK and it could make its way to India in the coming months. Until then, the current model continues to fend off competition from the Mercedes GLE, Audi Q7, BMW X5 and the Porsche Macan.
