Bhavish Aggarwal, CEO of Ola Electric, has shared the latest update on the Ola S1 and S1 Pro electric scooter sales via Twitter. Along with a formal apology, Bhavish has announced that the online bookings process for the scooters has been postponed by a week’s time to September 15, 2021, from 8 am onwards.
The operations were delayed due to a technical glitch on the website due to which it failed to go live on time, thus hampering online bookings. However, the company has assured its customers that the entire process will remain digital for a hassle-free, paperless experience. Customers will also benefit from finance options that will be available online.
Bookings made prior to this will remain unaffected and deliveries will be carried out based on the first-come-first-serve format. Head here to understand the buying procedure, if you haven’t booked the OLA S1 or S1 Pro but are keen on buying one.
