Nissan Magnite: Detailed Pictures Of All Variants

The Magnite will be offered in a total of five variants. Take a good look at all of them in this report

The Nissan Magnite is expected to reach showrooms soon as series production has commenced at Nissan’s Oragadam facility in Chennai. It’ll be offered in five variants and we have got detailed images of all of them. Scroll through to take a closer look.

  • The Magnite’s barebones variant looks stripped down. It runs on 16-inch steel wheels with a hub cap.

  • You don’t get DRLs in this variant, it has been replaced by an ‘L’ shaped chrome strip.

  • The keen-eyed will notice the turn indicators on the front fenders.

  • The bumpers are finished in black, unlike the higher variants which get a silver skid plate.

  • Kudos to Nissan for offering a rear wash, wiper as well as a defogger right from the base variant.

  • The Magnite XE’s interior comes with a dual-tone black-beige colour scheme.

  • The manual air-con knobs and digital instrumentation seem to be shared with the Triber

  • It doesn’t come with an infotainment system as well.

  • Magnite XE can only be had with a 72PS 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine coupled to a 5-speed manual gearbox.

  • Moving up a step, the Magnite XL comes with 16-inch steel rims with plastic wheel caps.

  • Contrasting silver skid plates are on offer from this variant and they lend a premium look.

  • DRLs and fog lamps aren’t on offer, but it comes with ORVM-mounted turn indicators.

  • Inside, the Magnite XL’s main feature additions are an infotainment system, automatic climate control, and steering-mounted audio controls.

  • This variant is offered with both naturally aspirated and 100PS 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engines. It’s the entry point for the Magite’s turbo-petrol engine and the CVT automatic transmission.

  • The Magnite XV looks more upmarket than the first two variants with 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, LED DRLs and fog lamps.

  • Dual-tone colour schemes are offered from this variant onwards. Click here to know the colours offered with the Magnite.

  • The body cladding in the doors gets contrasting silver elements.

  • It features ordinary halogen headlamps, though.

  • The cabin ambience is spruced up thanks to an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 7-inch coloured digital instrument cluster.

  • Notable features in this variant include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, push-button start, and a rearview camera.

  • Nissan offers an optional tech pack from this variant which adds features like a wireless phone charger, air purifier, ambient lighting, and puddle lamps.

XV Premium

  • Apart from the inclusion of LED headlamps, the Magnite XV Premium looks similar to the XV.

  • The interior of this variant comes with a sportier, all-black theme instead of the dual-tone scheme found in the lower variants.

  • Packs bells and whistles such as cruise control, a 360-degree camera, and a tyre pressure monitor.

  • It’s also the only variant to come with rear AC vents.

  • Connected car tech is limited to the XV Premium (O) variant.

Prices for the Nissan Magnite are expected to be revealed by January. It’s likely to start from Rs 5.5 lakh (ex-showroom). The Magnite will rival well established sub-4 metre SUVs such as the Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Ford EcoSport, Maruti Vitara Brezza, and Hyundai Venue
