  • The Magnite’s barebones variant looks stripped down. It runs on 16-inch steel wheels with a hub cap.

  • You don’t get DRLs in this variant, it has been replaced by an ‘L’ shaped chrome strip.

  • The keen-eyed will notice the turn indicators on the front fenders.

  • The bumpers are finished in black, unlike the higher variants which get a silver skid plate.

  • Kudos to Nissan for offering a rear wash, wiper as well as a defogger right from the base variant.

  • The manual air-con knobs and digital instrumentation seem to be shared with the Triber

  • Magnite XE can only be had with a 72PS 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine coupled to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
