Hard-top Or Soft-top? Nah, Jeep Wants You To Go Flip-top

Jeep Performance Parts and Mopar have introduced a new roof option for the Wrangler and Gladiator that will allow you to enjoy the airy feel of a soft-top on a hard-top model.

The Sunrider Flip Top allows you to flip open part of the roof, and can be fitted on the current Wrangler two-door and four door models, previous-gen Wrangler, and the Gladiator. It is made from black twill fabric, a material used in premium convertibles. Currently available in just the USA and Canada, it retails for USD 895, which roughly equals Rs 66,723.

This accessory comes ready-to-install with mounting rails and hardware, but alternatively can be fitted at Jeep dealerships. Jeep also suggests other options to go with the flip-top roof option such as half-doors and tube-doors that allow more air into the cabin and free up more cabin space as well.

While the Sunrider flip-top is an option for the hard-top model, Jeep also has an additional accessory for the convertible versions. It offers a sunbonnet, in both mesh and solid options, for when the soft-top or hard-top is lowered, to provide a little more shade.
