Eyeing the D-Max V-Cross pickup or the mu-X SUV? Don’t wait too long to make your decision since both models are expected to get a price hike of Rs 3 lakh to Rs 4 lakh next year as their powetrains will be upgraded to meet BS6 emission norms. The manufacturer has also said that it will end production of the BS4-compliant models by the end of December 2019. Meanwhile, here’s the price list of the BS4 D-Max V-Cross and mu-X SUV.

It comes mated to a 6-speed automatic. Further, the latter is limited to the fully-loaded Z Prestige variant. Both powertrains will be upgraded to meet BS6 emission norms.

The mu-X SUV comes with a 3.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine that develops 177PS of power and 380Nm of torque. It comes mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. The SUV can be had with rear-wheel drive as well as all-wheel drive drivetrain. This motor, too, will be upgraded to meet the upcoming emission norms.

The BS6-compliant D-Max V-Cross and mu-X SUVs are expected to go on sale before April 2020. Considering Isuzu’s statement, we expect the updated D-Max V-Cross to be priced from Rs 19.55 lakh while the mu-X could have a starting price of Rs 30.35 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom).
