The world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, Hero MotoCorp continued on its path of success by posting double digit profits in April 2016; the third consecutive month that it has managed to achieve this feat.
Riding on a glory wave, Hero sold 6,12,739 units of two-wheelers in April, informed a press release. This is a 15 per cent growth for the Indian manufacturer from the 5,33,305 units that it delivered in the corresponding month last year.

Having grown by 13.6 percent and 14 percent in February and March respectively, this is the third consecutive month of double digit growth for Hero MotoCorp, as mentioned earlier.
The company states that the major contributors to its success have been its 100cc products. However, the best-selling motorcycle has been the 125cc commuter Hero Glamour, which grew by a notable 23 per cent in the last financial year (FY16).

With the Maestro Edge and Duet, Hero has of late targeted the country’s scooter segment. It has also reaped rewards with both the scooters working up good numbers on the sales charts. We recently tested the Duet; you can read more about it here.
