Citroen Debuts “La Maison Citroen” Concept Showroom In India

• Citroen’s first showroom based on the concept will come up in Ahmedabad.

• It will use multiple digital touch points for a more immersive experience.

• The showroom will be complemented by an after-sales service workshop and test-drive fleet at the time of launch of the C5 Aircross.

• Citroen will unveil the C5 Aircross on February 1 and is likely to launch the SUV by March.

Citroen is one step closer to its debut in India with the launch of the C5 Aircross. The French carmaker has set up its first showroom in India based on its global “La Maison Citroen” concept that debuted in 2017 and is now spread over 100 locations across the world. In India, Citroen’s first showroom is located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

“La Maison Citroen” is French for “The Home of Citroen”. The showroom concept aims at providing a seamless “phygital” retail experience for the customer using a number of digital touch points. The showroom will have features such as a 3D configurator and vintage Citroen models. Spread out over 4,000 sq ft, the showroom space will also house an after-sales service workshop and a test-drive fleet once the C5 Aircross is launched. 

Speaking on the debut of the concept in India, Roland Bouchara, Senior VP, Sales and Marketing, Citroen India said, “The showroom will have numerous screens, debuting the ATAWADAC (AnyTime AnyWhere AnyDevice AnyContent) and Phygital ecosystems in India, allowing customers to explore and sample the Citroen brand, products and services seamlessly. This includes not just the cars but also merchandise as well as vehicle customisation. “La Maison Citroën” is a global retail concept that has gained much repute and praise from happy Citroën customers worldwide.”

Citroen will unveil the C5 Aircross on February 1 and launch the premium mid-size SUV probably by March. It will compete with the upcoming Volkswagen Tiguan. Expect the C5 Aircross to be priced from Rs 30 lakh (ex-showroom).
