The Chevrolet Sail will be powered by the 1.3-litre SMARTECH turbo-charged oil burner and the 1.2-litre SMARTECH motor doing duty in the Sail U-VA. Power and torque figures are expected to be a tad lower due to the added weight of the trunk.
The equipment list includes safety features such as speed sensitive door locks, ABS with EBD, airbags, collapsible steering column, side impact beams and like the top end trim version, it will feature a Bluetooth integrated stereo with music streaming.
The company will also offer the 3-5-3 advantage on warranty with 3 years/45,000km Chevrolet Promise, 5 year/1,50,000km engine and transmission warranty and 3 year/1,00,000km vehicle warranty as standard for all variants.
