Skoda India has silently opened bookings for the facelifted Superb ahead of its launch in the country. You can now book one on Skoda’s official website for a token amount of Rs 50,000. In addition, the carmaker also opened bookings for the Karoq and Rapid TSI at Rs 50,000 and Rs 25,000, respectively. The booking portal also reveals the Superb’s variants and colour options.

The facelifted Superb will be offered in two trims: Sportline and Laurin & Klement. Both variants will be offered with different colour options. Sportline will come in three colours: Moon White, Race Blue and Steel Grey, and Laurin & Klement in five: Lava Blue, Magic Black, Magnetic Brown, Business Grey and Moon White.

Both variants will come with a 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine that develops 190PS of power and 320Nm of torque. It will be offered with a 7-speed DSG only. Unlike before, the Superb won’t be offered with a manual transmission or a diesel engine. That said, Skoda India might bring back the diesel engines later if demand persists.

In terms of features, the facelifted Superb’s equipment list is expected to come with connected car technology, a digital instrument display, and LED headlamps. Apart from that, it’s largely expected to be similar to the outgoing car.

Skoda India will launch the facelifted Superb once the nationwide lockdown has been lifted in the country. The facelifted Superb made its India debut at Auto Expo 2020. You can have a closer look at its styling upgrades here. The facelifted Superb is expected to be priced close to the Rs 30 lakh mark (ex-showroom). It will lock horns with the Toyota Camry Hybrid.
