Yamaha has launched the 2023 iteration of their dual-purpose motorcycle, the Crosser 150, . It now comes equipped with a couple of new features that adds to its practicality both on and off the road. The dual purpose machine will be offered in two variants.
The Yamaha Crosser now features an LED headlamp, doing away with the halogen one that it featured earlier like the Yamaha WR155R. Other additions include a fully digital instrument console and a charging socket for added practicality. The new Crosser 150 is now available in four colour options: red, blue, black and cream.
Engine:

The Yamaha Crosser 150 continues with a liquid-cooled 149cc four-stroke, single-cylinder SOHC engine. The motor churns out 12.6PS at 7500rpm, while torque figure is 12.75Nm at 6000rpm, and it features a 5-speed gearbox.
Underpinnings:

It has a 12-litre fuel tank. The most intriguing part about this motorcycle is that it can run on two types of fuel: standard petrol and ethanol. A kerb weight of 134kg means that this motorcycle should feel light on its feet and easy to handle. That said, the daunting 845mm seat height might not be everyone’s cup of tea. The Yamaha Crosser gets 90/90-19 tyres at the front while the rear gets 110/90-17. Suspension duties are handled by a telescopic fork (180mm travel) up front coupled with a monoshock (160mm travel) unit.
Price:
The Crosser gets two variants in Brazil, Crosser Z ABS and Crosser S ABS. The Yamaha Crosser 150 Z ABS retails at R$ 16,790(approximately Rs 2,73,736) whereas the Crosser 150 S ABS variant is priced at R$ 16,590(approximately Rs 2,69,477).
That said, it’s unlikely to make its way to India. But if you’re looking for a beginner off-road motorcycle, the Hero Xpulse 200 or the Royal Enfield Himalayan Scram 411 could be a great choice for you.
