April 2025 looks promising, as we expect a lot of exciting launches to take place in India this month. The manufacturers will look to start the financial year with a bang, and here are all the bikes and scooters we expect to launch this month:
Bajaj Chetak 3503
Expected Price: Rs 1 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi)

Bajaj Auto introduced the Chetak 35 Series scooter range in India last December. The range included three scooters: 3501, 3502 and 3503. While the 3501 and the 3502 were launched, the manufacturer didn’t give out any details about the 3503. The 3503 will be the most affordable model in the 35 Series and will most likely feature the same 3.5kWh battery pack but will differ in terms of the features it gets. However, the Chetak 3503 will carry the same vintage style the Chetak is known for.
Hero Karizma XMR 250
Expected Price: Rs 2 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi)

Hero unveiled the flagship Karizma, the XMR 250 at the 2024 EICMA, and the motorcycle made its India debut at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. It is expected to launch in April 2025. The Karizma has always been Hero’s halo product, and the name was revived in 2023 with the Karizma XMR 210. While the bike did create a buzz initially, it failed to capture the essence of the original Karizma. Hero Motocorp seems to have stopped production from December 2024 and has not sold the Karizma XMR 210 ever since. This just indicates that the manufacturer is gearing up for the launch of the bigger and updated Karizma XMR 250. With a revised design, better equipment and a more powerful engine, the Karizma XMR 250 is expected to be a promising quarter-litre contender in the Indian market.
KTM 390 Enduro R
Expected Price: Rs 3.3 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi)

KTM launched the 390 Enduro R globally, and we expect the motorcycle to launch in India in April 2025. The 390 Enduro R gets a typical enduro design which gets minimal bodywork to keep the weight in check. The bike will share the same engine as the 390 Adventure and the 390 Duke but will cater to a much more niche audience who want to do some serious off-roading. The 390 Enduro R will be a great motorcycle to upgrade to from an XPulse 200 4V. If priced at around Rs 3.3 lakh (ex-showroom), it would be a much better product than the Kawasaki KLX230 (priced the same, at Rs 3, 30,000) in terms of the equipment, features and the engine it offers.
KTM 390 Adventure R
Expected Price: Rs 4 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi)

The KTM 390 Adventure R will be the more hardcore sibling of the 390 Adventure we have on sale in India. Although it will share the same engine, bodywork work and features, the ‘R’ will have better equipment in terms of suspension and a larger rear wheel. This will increase the seat height, the ground clearance and the suspension travel of the motorcycle, which will result in a more offroad capable machine. The 390 Adventure, which we have on sale in India, is already a capable machine, but the 390 Adventure R is expected to take things up a notch when it launches in India.
KTM 390 SMC R
Expected Price: Rs 3.4 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi)

The KTM 390 SMC R is a supermoto-styled motorcycle which shares its bodywork and suspension deets with the 390 Enduro R but gets 17-inch spoke wheels with road-biased tyres. A supermoto’s purpose is to have fun while commuting. Due to the long travel suspension and road-biased tyres, it makes for a great commuter, especially for Indian conditions.
2025 Kawasaki Z900
Expected Price: Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi)

Kawasaki recently filed the design patent for the 2025 Z900 in India. While the motorcycle was first unveiled at the 2024 EICMA motor show, it will make its way to Indian shores this month. The motorcycle shares the same engine as the current Z900 but complies with stringent emission norms. It gets more features in the form of a new TFT display, 6-axis IMU and many more features. The Kawasaki Z900 is the highest-selling and most popular superbike in India. Between April 2024 and January 2025, at 747 units, its sales figure is more than twice that of its nearest rival, the Triumph Street Triple 765. What makes the Kawasaki Z900 such a popular model in India is the ‘big bike’ aura it exudes due to the aggressive bodywork and the massive yet creamy 948cc inline-four engine – all packaged at a fairly affordable price tag.
